Student Council Inauguration Speech

Ladies and gentlemen, to the honorable principals, all respected teachers, as well as my beloved fellow students, whom I respect and cherish.

Finally.

The day has finally come for the inauguration of the student council committee of the office 2024/2025.

My name is Gracelycia Angeline Serat, and I am standing before you all as the student council president of the office 2024/2025.

To my fellow student council committees, I would like to congratulate all of us for being a part of the student government of the school, and I wish that all of us would go by the promises we made today as we go by each day as committees of the student council.

It has been about 6 months since we started our programs, and before we move on to anything else, I would like to apologize and thank everyone for your patience. The student council committee 2024/2025 is finally been inaugurated.

Nevertheless, here we are today, and I am grateful and honored for this opportunity to stand and work together with these incredible individuals.

This year is the year of the killer whale, better known as the orca, the new student council mascot chosen by majority vote. A sea creature representing power, community, intelligence, and transformation. Just like the orca, we would like to foster the power of community amongst students, teachers, alumni, and the school’s surrounding community, accompanied by emotional intelligence during operations, which would lead to a transformation or a change in the future.

Even though today is the inauguration of the new era of the student council committee for the term 2024/2025. Let me remind everyone that every student in this school is a student council member. without you, there wouldn’t be a need to hold events, without you, there wouldn’t be a need to elect student council committees, and without you, there wouldn’t be a student council.

Therefore, I would like to thank everyone in this room for being here, because your presence is the reason we are here, and I humbly ask for your support and encouragement for the upcoming activities that we might conduct in the future till the end of this student council era and continuing on to the era after that.

Once again, my name is Gracelycia Angeline, as your student council president, I appreciate everyone for being here watching today’s inauguration, and may all of us have a pleasant year ahead of us.
